Life in Boise

Well we are here and doing this. After about a week of school and work between us we are really liking it here. The convenient location of our house could not be more perfect for us both. Especially considering when we were looking for somewhere to live we weren't familiar with the area at all, so basically we got lucky.

Our favorite things about Boise include no more apartments (woo), warmer weather, and the FOOD. Both having a big nice kitchen and having endless restaurant options.

Here's to the first.. Kind of.

I'm considering this the first official entry to our new fancy blog. This isn't my first time in the world of blogging. As a teenager I was an avid blogger and really got into design and making fellow photography teenager friends on the internet. But, in reading my old blog now I realize two things.

1. I literally had no life and nothing to write about so the things I did write about were super strange/lame/hilarious.

2. Most importantly, I LOVE reading it now. They are so entertaining I really love remembering things and reading them in the voice of my 14 year old self.

So even though starting a blog is pretty much the most cliche newlywed thing to do. I am doing it. Who knows what will happen in another twenty years.

So here we go. Us.
We met in March of 2014 on spring break in Vegas. I was there taking pictures of the Mountain West Basketball tournament for Utah State's student newspaper and he was there with friends who were filming it for  the university. We met through our mutual friends in a smoky noisy hotel lobby and let's just say it's only gone up from there. We got engaged that December and married the following May.

ABRAM JOSIAH
My extremely handsome, buff, compassionate, cat/dog video loving husband. He just graduated for Utah State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing minor (woo woo.) We are moving to Boise at the beginning of January so he can start his official grown up job. He is so excited to move on from the college life and to jump into his career.

MIKAYLA ERIN
I am obsessed with pretty colors, extremely uncoordinated, 5,8", addicted to baking (everything and everything), and I am freshly transferred to Boise State from USU to earn my BFA in Graphic Design.

We are both so excited to start a new stage of life in a new place, with a cute little house where we don't know anyone. There are a lot of unknowns but, the best kind possible.
